The family had set up a GoFundMe for Phelan to help with her medical expenses.

She was diagnosed with a grade 4 malignant brain tumor categorized as a glioma. This, according to Mayo Clinic, is a growth of cells that starts in the brain or the spinal cord.

Phelan had shared her initial symptoms

In a TikTok posted in late August of last year, Phelan had shared her initial cancer symptoms with her followers.

She shared that her symptoms included numbness on one side of her face and in one of her legs. When she received an MRI scan, it showed a lesion on her brain. She later got a brain biopsy and was diagnosed with cancer.

She kept fighting till the end
