Brooke Oleksy, the daughter of Hulk Hogan, has been speaking out about her father’s death and says there are things that do not add up. She wrote on Instagram that both police and nurses have told her she should see body cam footage and listen to the 911 calls because they might hold answers.
Hogan, whose real name was Terry Gene Bollea, went into cardiac arrest at his Florida estate on July 24. Paramedics showed up just five minutes after the call came in and then police arrived at 10.23am.
He was taken to Morton Plant Hospital at 10.32am and pronounced dead less than an hour later at 11.17am. The medical examiner said he died from a heart attack, and it was also noted he had leukemia CLL.
Oleksy posted: “FACT: I’ve 100% gotten legit cals from professionals- from police officials to nurses that were supposedly with my dad on the day of his death telling ME I need to see body cam footage and I need to get a hold of the 911 tapes.”
She said the people who have contacted her keep pushing her to get answers because they feel strongly about what they witnessed, even saying their careers could be at risk.
She admitted she has no real control over anything because it all comes down to what his wife decides. She added that she doesn’t know if or when her dad will be cremated, and while she heard from her brother there will be an autopsy, she said she does not know who will do it or if it has already been done. Out of respect for her father she said she will not share any autopsy results if she gets them.
Her statement continued: “I do not have answers as to if the officials who have contacted me about what they witnessed relayed this information to the medical examiner’s office. And if they did, I do not know why it wasn’t taken into consideration. All body cam footage and 911 dispatch calls are not available via the freedom of information act. It’s all on lockdown. I do not know why.” She also questioned his physician signing off on the death certificate considering his health background.
She said she is relying on her brother to try to get the truth. She admitted that answers would help, but nothing will change the fact that her father is gone and she feels her hands are tied in the matter.
