If there’s one thing we’ve learned about people, it’s the fact that they love cats. We tend to seek out cat pictures online and when we see videos, we just jump from one to the next.
It comes as no surprise that we are very protective of the felines we have at home. We love them from the heart, and we want to ensure they live the best life possible.
Perhaps that is why it doesn’t seem out of the ordinary that a woman would protect her cat and seek retribution for something that was done to harm him. It started when her neighbor’s son threw a cup of water on her cat for no reason.
That woman, Shannon Cooper, said she was so upset about what her neighbor’s young son did to her feline that she threw a basin of water on him from the window.
I’ll be the first one to admit that this is a little universal justice going on, but we do need to be cautious that we are not taking things too far, too fast.
This came to the forefront when the little boy’s father was at her door ‘going mental’ although she didn’t see a problem because she said, “Don’t touch my cat.”
My 10 year old neighbour just threw a cup of water over my cat who was sitting on the fence minding his own business n laughed so I threw a basin of water over him from the window and now his dad is at my door going mental but I don’t see the problem, don’t touch my cat

People were divided over this situation, with one person saying that she could be charged with assault.
Another person said she was childish for handling the situation that way.
Be careful because you could be charged with assault. It will not matter to a judge what the kid did to your cat. All that matters is that you assaulted a child with water. I’m just saying because not everyone will laugh.

Some people agreed with her and what she did. They felt that the child should be taught some respect and that if you mess with a cat, you’re going to be messing with the owner.
Someone messes with my cat, they will be dealing with me.

Shannon also came on to give an update, letting the Internet know that the father and she are friends and they are now laughing about it. He didn’t know what was done, so maybe he was thankful that she soaked his son.
people r so mad over this, the kid and his dad were laughing about it today, we r friends (also might I add the dad never knew what his son done which is why he was mad to begin with) also the kid is 13 he rlly looks fkn 10 lmao
