Primarily recognized for her legendary portrayal as Samantha Stephens, the captivating sorceress from the beloved television series Bewitched, Montgomery had a lasting impression on the entertainment sector.

It was hardly surprising that Elizabeth started her profession at a young age, making appearances in TV series and films, as acting was in her blood. In 1951, she debuted on television in Robert Montgomery Presents, her father’s program.

During her early career, she made guest appearances on popular shows of the era as well as roles in a number of anthology series.

But what really cemented her reputation as a household figure was her portrayal of Samantha Stephens in Bewitched. A popular comedy that ran from 1964 to 1972 was called Bewitched.
