An emaciated woman was discovered alive on May 17, 2025, at around 11:10 a.m. She was found lying in a vacant plot of land located near the intersection of Keng Road and Win Win Boulevard, within Sangkat Bak Kheng, Khan Chroy Changvar, Phnom Penh.
The woman appeared extremely weak and frail when discovered, raising serious concerns about her condition and how she came to be in such a state. Her presence in the area was initially noticed much earlier in the morning but went unreported for several hours.
At approximately 5:30 a.m., a passing motorist on a motorbike reportedly saw the woman lying beside the road. However, the individual did not stop or investigate further, likely assuming the situation was not urgent or failing to grasp the seriousness of her condition.
It wasn’t until around 11:00 a.m. that someone alerted local authorities. Upon receiving the report, police officers responded promptly and arrived at the scene shortly after to assess the situation.
Authorities began an on-site investigation to determine the woman’s identity, condition, and the circumstances that led to her being left in such a vulnerable state. No immediate information was provided regarding whether she had been abandoned, injured, or suffering from another issue.
