A conservative outlet reported that Tyler Robinson, who shot Charlie Kirk, was living with a transgender partner. The claim came from Brooke Singman who said: “Charlie Kirk assassin Tyler Robinson lived with his transgender partner, sources tell me.” She added: “The individual, who is a male transitioning to a female, is fully cooperating with the FBI.” Singman also claimed officials had texts and communications that confirmed Robinson was the shooter.
There were earlier reports that Robinson’s father had contacted the police, but another account says it was his roommate Lance Twiggs who turned over Discord messages. Those messages lined up with what investigators later saw, including him needing to change clothing and where the gun was later found. The rifle was recovered in a wooded spot with a scope on it and wrapped in a towel.
During the shooting, Kirk was asked: “Do you know how many transgender Americans have been mass shooters over the last 10 years?” The reply was “Too many.” Then another question followed before Kirk responded with “Counting or not counting gang violence?” and that is when he was shot.
Singman later went further and said: “FBI senior officials confirm Charlie Kirk’s assassin Tyler Robinson was in a ‘romantic relationship’ with the transgender partner.” She repeated that the person is helping investigators.
However, one family member told another outlet that Robinson and Twiggs were just roommates and not romantically involved. That relative also called Twiggs the black sheep of his own family and denied knowing about any transition.

Robinson’s grandmother Debbie said she has tried to reach her son Matt, who was once reported as the person that alerted police, but she has not been able to get through. Neighbors also told police that they saw people from out of town visiting the apartment Robinson and Twiggs shared, saying the visitors did not give off a good feeling.
Online, many people reacted by dismissing the report and some flat out said they did not believe Fox News.
