1. A Disappointing Welcome
We all have sad days, and sometimes all we want is to get home, tuck ourselves in, and hug our pets while eating a tub of ice cream. If you are a pet lover and you have one in your home, then you know how much of a positive difference they can make in our lives.
So when this guy counted on his cat to lift his spirits up, he was stunned to find his cat in one of its moods just staring at the wall.
2. A Very Explicit Piece Of Cake From The Mother-In-Law
Mother-in-law jokes are a favorite amongst many people, and though they may be accurate in some families, they are not necessarily the rule. With that in mind though, this person wasn’t so thrilled when she got this piece of cake from her mother-in-law.
While the piece seemed harmless at first, she soon realized that there was a little message waiting for her.
3. Poor Gary
While all that Gary wanted that day was to declare his love for Doris, the people he hired to help him out completely messed it up. In fact, no matter how hilarious it is, this might’ve gone a little too far.
They might have ruined the only chance that Gary had to declare his love for Doris in the most extravagant way possible.
4. Worse Case Scenario
Whenever we do absolutely anything in life, we are prone to experiencing a bump or two on the road. Take this guy for example. He was just going about his life, doing one of the most ordinary things anyone can do in a day.
Yet, he was able to mess that up. While pulling his jacket his eyelid got caught on by the zipper – if you’re cringing right now then don’t worry, so are we!
5. The Lucky One
Ah, don’t you just love DIY projects? We get to make things exactly the way we want them to be, putting a very nice personal touch in the house.
But when dealing with things like painting, we ought to pay extra attention to where and how we place our items. Clearly, the project didn’t get to a good start for this girl.
6. An Embarrassing Order
This person was completely taken aback when she realized that the blackhead remover she had ordered was packed in a very specific way.
To add to that, she had to collect it at her local post office and, unfortunately for her, there were a lot of people at the post office on that particular day…
7. An Unfortunate Coincidence
There are certain situations that really put things into perspective for us. Take what happened to this guy for example. He was so excited to be receiving his new guitar that day, but then the unthinkable happened.
He literally had an accident at work that was so brutal, that it cost him two fingers. Yes folks, this guy received his new guitar the day he lost his fingers.
8. Anyone’s Worst Nightmare
Not many of us haven’t thought about the possibility of finding a snake in the toilet, even during a camping trip or while sleeping in a cabin out in the wilderness.
Though this is extremely rare and almost impossible, this person is proved to us that it does happen. Gladly, they were very cool about it and decided to simply coexist with the snake.
9. Wasn’t Actually Costume Day At Work
How many times have we seen people arriving at a costume party and being the only person who is actually wearing a costume? If that is not one of the cringiest moments we’ve seen out there, then we don’t know what is.
Sadly for this girl in a full banana costume, no one else took the memo seriously, and she ended up being the only one rocking it!
10. The “Perfect” Yearbook Photo
Yearbook photos can be daunting, as they require a sort of “frozen” perfection from us the moment the photographer takes the shot. If not, that picture will, unfortunately, be there for the rest of the year, and maybe even years to come.
Every time this person takes a look at her yearbook photos, she will be reminded that sometimes things don’t really go our way.
11. That Was Way Too Much Soap
No matter how careful we are, we are all prone to making a mistake or two. By the looks of this picture, it seems like whoever was in charge of washing the clothes put way more soap than necessary.
While this is definitely hilarious to look at, we can only imagine how the person must have felt when they saw that their lawn was under a blanket of foam.
12. Do Not Reccomend
We have all probably seen those transformational photos on social media of people who lost tens of pounds after a specific diet, exercise, a change in lifestyle, and of course there are always the “fishy products”.
Well, things went a little different for this girl. She did lose 10 pounds but was her method? Salmonella! It’s safe to say that nobody recommends that.
13. The Minion Costume
Now, there are several ways we could interpret this one. This guy either has to change it up a little bit when it comes to his wardrobe or he needs to embrace that they’re pretty similar to what the famous minions look like.
His son must’ve told him that his outfit made him look like a Despicable Me character which definitely got him thinking. Can’t say we can’t blame him for that.
14. It Was Definitely Not A Fridge
When this guy finally purchased the house of his dreams, he was excited to find a little gift left by the previous owners. The basement came with a mini-fridge that would definitely be super useful for him.
He proceeded to place some of his beers in it, and when he went to grab one the day after, he found out the hard way that the fridge was in fact a freezer.
15. A Bart Simpson Lookalike
Here’s the thing, before doing absolutely anything we see on the internet, it is crucial that we do all the research that we can. After all, you never know what the consequences of a simple decision may be.
For this girl, it meant that the Tumeric mask she was so eager to try would actually stain her face. Hopefully, she managed to find a solution for it.
16. Do Not Leave The Doggy Door Open During A Thunderstorm
While dogs are undeniably cute and probably some of the best companions humans can have, they can also be pretty messy. They love playing (at least most of them) and while torrential rain may be something that we avoid being caught up in, for them it’s just another reason to go outside.
Imagine coming home after a long day of work to this little guy sitting in a giant puddle of mud. What would you do?
17. “Well I Flipped A Tractor”
We’re not really sure how it’s possible to achieve something as big as flipping an entire tractor, but this person managed to do so. Thankfully though, they seem to have gotten out of it unharmed, since they made a joke out of it and even posted it on social media.
We’re going to go ahead and say that this might be one of the most impressive accidents we’ve ever seen.
18. What A Great Year It Was
When you start believing that this year is done with playing tricks on you, here comes a sting from a wasp the day you decide to take the Christmas tree down.
And what a wasp it was! It caught the guy so badly that his entire lip became five times bigger. Hopefully, that also means that things can only get better next year.
19. It’s Just Not Her Day
Listen, some days are just not our day. No matter how positive we may try to be, things are just not bound to work out. So when this person started off her day with things not really going her way, she really hoped that things would get better.
After dropping an entire sandwich in the parking lot and losing it, she managed to drop her lovely pasta on the floor as the cherry on top.
20. When Your Medical Results Show Up At The Worst Time
We bet this person wished they hadn’t been placed with the phone of someone who had well… a lot of fun in life. This explicit text could have literally been received at any other moment, but somehow it came through the moment the phone was held by someone else.
We bet that whatever happened after this was extremely awkward for both sides.
21. Hopefully The Charger Is Strong
There are certain things that happen to only the most unfortunate of people. When they thought they had properly placed their phone charging in the car, someone slammed the door and half of the charger, including the part with the phone, remained outside.
They clearly didn’t notice it because the person proceeded to drive.
22. Damn You, Squirrel!
Squirrels are the cutest little animals, but food causes them to make some very bold decisions. The person who took this photo is trying to cut back on sweets, but once a week they allow themselves their favorite food for breakfast – a hot and tasty croissant!
Sadly though, he didn’t see the squirrel standing nearby, calculating the moment it would steal the croissant from his hands. Guess that cheat day will just have to wait!
